Sequence Maze

24th July 2017

Over the years I've designed a few mazes that don't really fit on Mazelog, so I've decided to present them as an occasional feature in this blog in case they are of interest. Let me know if you think they are worth including in Mazelog.

The first one is a type of maze I called a Sequence Maze. In this maze start on the "a" in the top left-hand corner and find the shortest route to the "b" in the bottom right-hand corner moving one square at a time horizontally or vertically, but not diagonally.

Each square you land on must follow the sequence a, b, c, a, b, c ... and so on:

These mazes are usually pretty easy; you should be able to solve this one in under a minute! I'll give the solution in a few days' time.
